Cybersecurity is such a domain that just does not require only technical exploitation skills or basic technical knowledge, but it requires programming skills as well.
Reason being malware analysis, application code analysis, web-app codes to analyse and a lot more, not just analysis, being a cyber security practitioner or researcher there is a need to write scripts, tasks to be automated etc
